KITKAT unveils posters made from white KitKat chocolate bars

Happy Pancake Day everybody! To celebrate this delicious day we have created a data visualisation that shows the different amounts of ingredients various countries use in order to make the perfect pancake.
What do you think of our data visualisation? We’d love to hear your thoughts! We’d also be interested to hear which recipe appeals most to you. We’re not sure which is our favourite, but we know which is our least…. Canada – just look at that amount of lard!

As it’s Friday, we thought we would celebrate the arrival of the weekend by showcasing something funny on our blog. If you work in the design industry, can you relate to the caption on these signage designs?

It feels slightly strange to be writing about ‘mummy porn’ on a blog that mainly features topics around graphic design and web design, but Andrew, (one of our graphic designers) was inspired to produce a poster when he heard that there was speculation around which actor will play Christian Grey when the erotic novel ‘50 Shades Of Grey’ is made into a Hollywood film.
After being informed about the character, (from all the women at our office!) Andrew learnt that almost the entire female population is praying for heartthrob Ryan Gosling to play the role of Christian Grey.
Andrew has now made our dreams come true with this fabulous poster. We’ve got this image saved as our screen savers and we’ve also been generously sharing it around on Pinterest. The next step is to get our Creative Director to allow us to hang it on the wall in our office! We simply demand for Ryan Gosling to play Christian Grey – who’s with us?
The image has been created from a network of fragmented geometric shapes that are made up of 50 shades of grey to adequately reflect the complex nature of Mr. Grey.

Coffee lovers will be living La Vida Mocha this weekend at the London Coffee Festival. The flagship event of UK Coffee Week celebrates the artistry of coffee and what goes in to creating a good brew. But what is it about this beverage that is so important to us that we feel it deserves a whole weekend to celebrate? We take a look at why this drink isn’t just a beverage, but a moment of pure pleasure.
